Describe a goal that you have set and the steps you will take to achieve it. What made you set this goal for yourself? What is your timeline to achieve this goal? Who do you seek encouragement or guidance from as you work on this goal?

One goal I have set for myself is to find ways to contribute to environmental conservation due to its importance on a global scale. I am actively working to achieve this goal through my involvement in environmental-based clubs and my mentorship with an architecture firm, which has allowed me to research environmentally-friendly buildings and sustainable designs. Pursuing architecture as my next step toward this goal would give me the opportunity to create a larger impact on the environment through design that uses renewable energy sources, conserves water, and recycles materials. As I work toward this lifetime goal, I will seek encouragement from environmental specialists and mentors in my field in addition to peers who are also passionate about the environment.
